Our story began in November 2020, during a year when the world was doing just about everything online. Meetings were virtual, plans were unpredictable, and apparently… so was Cupid.

As two people who share a love for technology in our professional lives, it seems only fitting that technology would play a role in bringing us together personally, too. We prefer to call it, a highly successful digital matchmaking project.

Somewhere between a profile, a click, a conversation, and what may have been the best algorithm either of us has ever encountered, George met Kimberley. Kimberley met George. And the rest began to write itself.

What started as two people getting to know one another gradually became a partnership filled with laughter, affection, adventure, great meals, family, and a love that feels like home.

Life Is Better Together

Over the years, we've discovered that some of our favorite moments happen when we're simply enjoying life together.

We love to travel and experience new places, spend time on the golf course—where we're still deciding whether the objective is actually golf or just looking good in golf attire—and make time for a little self-care and relaxation whenever life allows.

And then there is food.

We are serious foodies.

Finding a new restaurant is practically a love language in our relationship. Give us a great menu, a beautiful atmosphere, and enough time to debate what we're ordering, and you have our version of a perfect date night. Some of our favorite memories have been made sitting across the table from one another, sharing great food, conversation, laughter, and probably saying, "You have to taste this."

But underneath all the trips, tee times, restaurants, and adventures is something much more important: the way we take care of one another.

What George Means to Kimberley

George brought a kind of love into Kimberley's life that is both comforting and grounding.

His affection, encouragement, and unwavering support have created a relationship where she feels deeply loved—not only in the big moments, but in the ordinary ones too.

George is her partner, her safe place, her biggest supporter, her travel companion, her golfing partner, her favorite dinner date, and the person she knows will be beside her through every season of life.

His love reminds her that the best relationships aren't simply about finding someone you love.

They're about finding someone who shows you that love every day.

What Kimberley Means to George

According to George, Kimberley has a very special talent:

She knows what he needs before he even knows he needs it.

She nurtures him, supports him, encourages him, and somehow manages to anticipate the question before he asks it. Whether it's making sure he's taken care of, keeping everyone connected, organizing family plans, or making certain the details actually become a plan, Kimberley has earned another unofficial title:

Best Family Project Manager Ever.

No software required.

No status meeting necessary.

Okay… maybe a status meeting.

For George, Kimberley's love is in the details. It's in the way she cares for him, the way she shows up for their family, and the way she makes the people she loves feel supported.

She is his partner, his nurturer, his teammate, and the woman he gets to call his wife.

And Now… We Say “I Do”

When we first connected in November 2020, neither of us could have known exactly where that first conversation would lead.

But one conversation became another.

One date became many.

Two individual lives became intertwined.

And somewhere along the way, “you and me” became “us.”

We've traveled together. We've laughed together. We've eaten very well together. We've supported each other through life's highs and lows. We've grown as partners and as a family.

And now we're beginning our greatest adventure yet:

Marriage.

So maybe it was an algorithm.

Maybe it was timing.

Maybe it was fate.

We believe it was a little bit of all three—with a whole lot of love.

And if November 2020 taught us anything, it's this:

Sometimes the best connection you'll ever make starts with Wi-Fi.
